There is no video or image evidence at this time, making the validity of this play decrease. The play takes place away (grey jersey) and mostly likely against the Tigers (Alex Avila #13 can be seen in the photo). Statcast shows that Garcia only saw 24 pitches away against the Tigers in 2013 (the likely year of the play since the card is copyrighted 2014). Only two plays are realistically "worthy" of a card: A triple and a home run, both from the same game. The triple is out as Avila does not start in the correct position. But we can see the proper bat and shoe coloring in this video. It is mostly likely that this photo was taken from Garcia's home run earlier in the game.
